MASE IS 12 super-silenced 11,2 KW AVR marine generator

MASE IS12 single-phase 11,2 KW marine generator with 1500 rpm motor. The MASE IS12 marine generator is designed with a soundproof enclosure that makes it supersilenced. The MASE IS12 marine generator is built with Yanmar diesel-powered engine and synchronous, self-excited, self-regulated brushless alternator with electronic voltage regulation AVR and air/water cooling. The AVR makes the voltage stable and avoids voltage fluctuations that can damage the connected sensitive electronic devices. With its small size, it is also suitable on small boats.

Control panel

The CBU control panel of the MASE IS12 is designed to bring together, in a single panel, the commands, controls and protections of the generator. The elements that compose it are:
- Engine protection module for automatic shutdown of the generator set in case of high water temperature, low oil pressure, high alternator temperature.
- Operating hour meter.
- Start and shutdown switch.
- Magnetothermal switch for generator protection in case of overload or short circuit.
- Thermal switch for DC circuit protection

Alternator

- Synchronous, 4-pole, self-excited, brushless self-regulated with electronic AVR voltage regulation.
- Rotor and stator are coated with epoxy paint to prevent corrosion.

Soundproofing Cabin

The soundproofing cabin of the MASE IS12 of excellent design and new design, consists of a supporting structure in aluminum profile that supports panels in marine aluminum painted type 5754 remarkably light and very high resistance to external agents. The excellent accessibility to the internal compartment makes maintenance operations easier even with the MASE IS12 marine generator installed in cramped environments.

The W/A intercooler

Allows the genset to be completely free from external environmental conditions, allowing the alternator and the engine to work at an ideal temperature, optimizing the performance and reliability of the machine.

Cooling system

The cooling of the engine of the MASE IS12 takes place by circulating coolant in a closed circuit. The system is composed of a cupronickel exchanger, inside of which the heat exchange between coolant and sea water takes place. Two separate pumps circulate the coolant and seawater in the MASE IS12 generator. The cooling of the air, circulating inside the machine, is obtained through a sea water/air heat exchanger. The air flows guarantee an effective cooling of the alternator and the achievement of an optimal temperature for the performance and reliability of the machine. This system has the advantage of ensuring the best operating conditions of the generator set regardless of the ambient temperature of the housing.
