The HONDA BF 135D LCRU comes complete with the VTEC™ system that keeps fuel consumption down while delivering an exciting increase in power. First used on Honda's Formula One cars, it delivers increased power and torque at all engine speeds. 

The HONDA BF 135D LCRU dual-stage air induction works with a shuttle valve built into the Variable Air Intake (VAI) manifold. When fully open, this valve changes the resonance and airflow generating more torque at low rpm. When the throttle valve is fully open and rpm increases, the cooling valve closes and creates a direct airflow to the engine.

HONDA BF 135D LCRU outboards are NMEA2000® compliant. There is no need to modify the wiring because everything is set up. Simply plug the engine into the CANbus network - the boat's nervous system - for total connectivity and control. Then the engine can be connected to other NMEA devices such as the navigation system, GPS, sonar devices, sounder and chartplotter. All information, including engine data, will be displayed via the multifunctional gauges.
