MECC ALTE ECP28-3S/4 C-TYPE ALTERNATOR 17.5KVA THREE-PHASE

Alternator MECC ALTE ECP28-3S/4 C-TYPE with an output of 17,5KVA, this unit has a self-exciting and self-regulating Brushless operation equipped with DSR voltage regulator.

The alternator ECP28-3S/4 C-TYPE is provided for operation at frequency 50 or 60 HZ, the possibility of working on these two frequencies makes it possible the application for any service voltage increasing its versatility, for the correct operation. For correct operation it is only necessary to verify that the calibrations are correct for the intended use.

MECC ALTE ECP28-3S/4 C-TYPE is supplied with 12 terminals (7 terminals), with which it is normally possible to connect the alternator both in series star and parallel star. According to the needs it is possible to pass from a connection to another one keeping in mind that it is necessary to verify the DSR.

ECP28-3S/4 can be used as single-phase depending on the needs. MECC ALTE ECP28-3S/4 is equipped with digital current regulator DSR . The regulator is suitable for operation on both three-phase and single-phase generators, allowing fast, accurate and reliable tuning. 

All MECC ALTE ECP28 alternators have the MAUX auxiliary winding to power the DSR digital regulator. You can connect the DSR voltage regulator to your PC via the DxR2 USB interface and DxR TERMINAL software to query/download alarms and settings for analysis. The DSR has a built-in USB connection and can be connected to the PC. Other settings such as LAMS, external synchronous digital RAM-based control and soft start are achievable through the DxR.

The robust mechanical structure withstands up to 5G in any direction and 9G vertically, and its design allows easy access to connections and components during routine maintenance checks. The mechanical design used the most advanced
FEM techniques. The materials used are FEP12 steel for the frame, C45 steel for the shaft and cast iron or pressure die-cast aluminum for the end supports.The fans are made of die-cast aluminum or fiberglass filled nylon, UL compliant materials. The rotors are dynamically balanced according to ISO 1940-1 grades 6.3 (up to Series 32) or 2.5 (Series 34 and up).
