SiNCRO AVR DBC1 12V/24V/48V/72V

SINCRO AVR DBC1 is an Automatic Voltage Regulator, a device able to stabilize the output voltage of a generator set to power electronic equipment.

In the absence of AVR , the output voltage of the alternator can be subject to variations even quite marked in the presence of strong variations in the load, which can cause malfunctions and damage to the electronics.

Since the generator set alternator is a synchronous machine, in order to work it needs an external excitation current (continuous) necessary to magnetize the rotor (rotating element). The regulator acts on this excitation current.

SINCRO DBC1 is a digital voltage regulator designed for brush and brushless DC alternators.
When the generator frequency drops below the selected knee frequency set point, SINCRO AVR DBC1 adjusts itself so that the generator voltage follows the V/Hz curve.
The controller controls the detected generator output voltage.
If the voltage exceeds the limit value, SINCRO AVR DBC1 is in alarm status.

The modular architecture of the SINCRO DBC1 allows optimization for different applications.
The SINCRO AVR DBC1 monitors and maintains the average voltage value constant.

A manual adjustment is provided for the factory setting on the SINCRO AVR DBC1 of the sub-frequency point, (UF). This can be easily changed to 50 or 60 Hz with two dip switches.

SYNCRO AVR DBC1 is also equipped with a fuse which is used to limit the input power supply current to protect the alternator.
