GENERATOR CUMMINS C550 D5e

The CUMMINS C550 D5e generator set is three-phase Diesel 500 KVA silenced Stage 2. The particularity of the Cummins generator sets is that they are made using the engine, alternator, electrical control panel and other components built by companies of the Cummins Inc Group .

This Cummins® commercial generator set is a fully integrated power generation system, providing optimum performance, reliability and versatility for Fixed Standby and Prime Power.

Cooling system - Standard system with integrated radiator, designed and tested for ambient temperatures.

Control system - PowerStart control, microprocessor genset with a monitoring and control system that provides a simple interface to the genset, manual and remote start/stop control and shutdown fault indication.

The heavy-duty Cummins industrial engine, a robust 4-stroke diesel, provides reliable power, with low emissions and with rapid response times to load changes.

Optional Excitation Boost System (EBS) - Offers improved starting to minimize short circuits and engine failures.

Different alternator sizes offer selectable engine starting capability with low reactance; with low distortion waveform even with non-linear loads and ability to compensate for faults and short-circuits.

Soundproof hood complete with residential muffler according to European legislation, made of sheet metal with a thickness of 2 mm, treated and painted for outdoor exposure; Engine coolant pre-heating system.

- Digital measurement of AC output.
- Digital display of alarm and status messages.
- Genset monitoring: Displays the status of all critical engine and alternator functions in the set generator.
- Advanced service and maintenance functions.

- OFF/START/AUTO buttons
- “STOP” emergency stop button

Used to immediately and easily stop the generator set in an emergency.
