THREE-PHASE ALTERNATORS WITH BRUSHES - COMPOUND REGULATION

The generators of this series are three-phase with brushes and are characterized by a combined regulation on three phases; they have a high starting capacity (motor start: 1 HP X KVA). They also have excellent performance with single-phase connection: with the delta connection it is possible to obtain 70% of the nominal three-phase load and 45% with the star connection with neutral. The stator or rotor are tilted to improve the waveform. The 2-pole rotors have a damping cage and all stator windings have a reduced pitch to reduce the harmonic content.
