The Honda BF225D XDU outboard is equipped with a double air induction stage with a shuttle valve incorporated into the variable intake manifold (Variable Air Intake, GO). When fully open, this valve changes resonance and airflow generating more torque at low revs. When the throttle valve fully opens and the revs increase, the cooling valve closes and creates a direct flow of air to the engine. This offers more power above 3500 rpm. Combined with the BLAST system, a disruptive effect is obtained.

The special ECOmo lean burn combustion control system inside the Honda BF225D UCDU outboard guarantees significant fuel savings thanks to the speed and performance. Once up and running, the outboard consumes significantly less fuel. By maintaining this regime and staying there, you get the best result.
