CUMMINS C55 D5 THREE-PHASE 55KVA SILENCED DIESEL GENERATOR SET

The Cummins C55 D5 three-phase 55kVA silenced diesel generator is a reliable and high-performance power system. It features a heavy-duty Cummins industrial 4-stroke diesel engine that provides low-emission power with fast response to load changes. The standard cooling system is designed and tested for ambient temperatures, while the PowerStart control system offers a simple interface for manual and remote start/stop control and shutdown fault indication.

The generator is housed in a high-weather protection silenced enclosure with excellent soundproofing. It comes with several alternator sizes that offer selectable engine starting capability with low reactance and a low distortion waveform, even with non-linear loads. An optional Excitation Boost System (EBS) provides improved starting to minimize short circuits and engine failures.

On-board accessories include lead batteries, a mechanical radiator for ambient temperature up to +50°C, and a sheet steel base frame with a welded tank inside and vibration dampers. The soundproof enclosure is complete with a residential muffler according to European standards and features a 2 mm thick sheet steel treated and painted for outdoor exposure. The generator features an automatic electrical panel with a 4-pole magneto-thermal protection switch and an on-board control panel for generating set - PCC0500. The main control functions include digital measurement of AC output, digital display of alarm and status messages, and generator set monitoring that displays the status of all critical functions of the generator set engine and alternator. The controls and adjustments include OFF/START/AUTO buttons, an emergency stop button, and menu settings for voltage, frequency, starting, and stopping delay.

The customer interface includes a communication protocol of Modbus RS 485 or RS 232, 4 configurable input contacts, and 2 configurable output relays.
