TELAIR TG480MEF CHARGER

TELAIR TG480MEF-MEF is a battery charger with more than twice the charging capacity of a Fuel Cell or 100W Solar Panel Fully automatic.

The operation of the TELAIR TG480MEF charger is fully automatic, it is ensured by a combustion engine powered by the LPG on board, fuel with low environmental impact.

Thanks to a very thick absorbent sound insulation, the TELAIR TG480MEF charger has an extremely low noise diffusion (only 51 dBA (7mt)) and almost imperceptible. The technical solutions adopted guarantee safe operation at all times, with negligible noise and vibrations.

The TELAIR TG480MEF charger starts when the battery is running low (11.9V) and stops when full (14.5V). Useful when the engine battery is not fully efficient or when using high absorption electrical equipment

TELAIR TG480MEF is equipped with a practical control panel that signals high temperature and low oil level. In addition, the control panel has a warning light that indicates all the operating phases of the ECOENERGY.

In addition, the panel is equipped with a button for forced manual start. It is used if you wish to switch on the ECOENERGY even if the battery voltage is higher than the minimum threshold level of 11.9 Volts. Once the voltage of 14.5 Volts has been reached, the ECOENERGY switches the engine off automatically and goes into stand-by again.

MULTI ENERGY FUNCTION (MEF)

The MULTI ENERGY FUNCTION (MEF) is an option available for TELAIR TG480/600 gensets. The MEF offers a number of features that improve the genset's performance in difficult conditions, such as in high mountains or when starting at low temperatures.

Optimisation in high mountains

In high mountains, the air pressure is lower than at sea level. This means that the amount of oxygen available for combustion is less. The MEF compensates for this difference by adjusting the engine's air-fuel ratio. This allows the engine to run efficiently and produce fewer polluting emissions.

Current selection

The MEF allows the motor home driver to select the current delivered by the genset. This is useful to avoid overloading the motor home's power supply. The MEF offers three current levels:
