Economic and lightweight, it is the ideal solution for those who prefer simple and essential systems. The power consumption is lower than traditional systems, up to 80%. For example, to produce 100 liters/hour of fresh water only 400 W are needed. The normal recharge of the engine is therefore largely sufficient to replenish the energy consumed, without the need for the generator.

Thanks to the very low power consumption, the watermaker can be powered directly from the batteries. It is possible to install the SCHENKER SMART 100 BASIC even without a generator set.

The use of the SCHENKER SMART 100 BASIC watermaker is extremely simple, as no adjustment is necessary. In fact, all systems are equipped with automatic pressure regulation. No direct access to the watermaker is required. All functions are performed remotely via the remote panel. SCHENKER watermaker do not use high-pressure pumps. As a result, the watermaker is extremely quiet and vibration-free.

The parts of the watermakerthat are in contact with the sea water are mostly made of carbon fiber or acetal resin. The SCHENKER SMART 100 BASIC is therefore totally corrosion-free. In the 2.0 systems, all components that are potentially subject to wear, such as o-rings and conventional hydraulic seals, have been eliminated. The sealing and sliding elements are made of innovative pads manufactured with nano-technologies. These materials exhibit an abrasion resistance up to 15 times higher than steel.

SCHENKER SMART 100 BASIC systems use the new, patented ERS device as an alternative to the high-pressure pumps of conventional systems. This device amplifies the pressure provided by low-pressure pumps, enabling extremely high energy efficiency. The typical power consumption of a SCHENKER watermakeris only 4 Watth/liter.
The ERS is designed specifically for marine applications and is made of materials that are completely impervious to salt water. Moving parts are kept to a minimum, thanks to the patented solution that eliminates the need for pilot valves.
