EGM GSD8000EP-SE single-phase/three-phase generator is equipped with a Diesel-powered engine capable of delivering a power of 6.5KW with AVR voltage regulator.

The generator is easy to install and operate, as well as starting and stopping thanks to the clear and intuitive controls (electric start). Auto shut-off for low oil level. Resistant chassis.

The generator is equipped with puncture-proof bolted wheels (heavy duty) and a hinged handle that help make it a robust and easy-to-transport appliance. Recessed sockets with snap-on safety covers make it more secure.

The generator has a practical double-curved handle, which folds away for easy mobility and storage. The generator guarantees efficient and silent operation thanks to the OHV engine which allows to deliver a maximum power of 6.5 kW.

AVR VOLTAGE REGULATOR

The purpose of the AVR, in a current generator, is to keep the output stable. And if its operation is very simple when resistive loads are powered, the situation is more complex in the case of predominantly inductive loads: the delayed phase-shifted current contrasts the inductor magnetic field, causing a drop in the alternator output terminals; to compensate the phenomenon, the AVR intervenes automatically by increasing the excitation current, until the output returns to the nominal value. If the load is instead capacitive, the current acts as a magnet for the inductor causing an increase in the output voltage, and the AVR intervenes by reducing the excitation current
