HELVI DIGICAR540E is a new generation professional battery charger/starter with electronic control (microprocessor). The advanced control panel of the HELVI DIGICAR540E battery charger allows the user to select the type of battery to be charged (AGM, GEL, LIQUID or Universal), 4 different levels of charge (depending on battery capacity), and/or to set a charging time (TIMER). The electronic control of the HELVI DIGICAR540E charger allows an optimisation of the charge (100%) and does not require removal of the battery. There is no user supervision since the charging process is totally controlled and safe. Once the charging phase is completed, the device will enter the maintenance phase. The battery voltage (12 V or 24 V), after correct connection of the cables, is indicated on the on-board display. During charging it is possible to display the battery voltage and the remaining time. The battery status is also always visible via 3 LEDs on the panel (Low, Medium, Charge). The HELVI DIGICAR540E battery charger is also equipped with advanced control systems including: reverse polarity, overcurrent, faulty battery indication, safe and protected starting.
SAFE STARTING: thanks to the advanced electronic CPS system, the HELVI DIGICAR540E battery charger allows safe and protected starting of vehicles (12 V or 24 V). Particularly useful for modern vehicles equipped with numerous electronic control units that could be damaged in case of unprotected starting from voltage peaks.
AUTOMATIC STARTING: the CPS system does not require remote starting devices. The HELVI DIGICAR540E battery charger supplies the starting current only when the user turns the vehicle key.
