The VICTRON MultiPlus 12/500/20-16 is a powerful pure sine wave inverter and charger with adaptive charging technology and a high-speed AC transfer switch.

The VICTRON MultiPlus 12/500/20-16 supports parallel operation and can function in a three-phase configuration, allowing the user to connect up to six Multi units for enhanced power output. The VICTRON MultiPlus 12/500/20-16 features PowerControl technology, enabling the setting of a maximum current limit for a generator or shore connection. This prevents overloading of the generator or shore connection when other AC loads are present.

PowerAssist is another innovative feature that allows the VICTRON MultiPlus 12/500/20-16 to integrate power from an alternative source, compensating for short bursts of high demand. This ensures uninterrupted power supply even during peak usage periods.

Equipped with a four-stage adaptive charging process, suitable for dual battery charging needs. This process optimizes battery charging and maintenance, enhancing battery longevity. The unit's high starting power is essential for accommodating high-power devices such as LED converters, halogen lamps, and electric tools.

The Search mode reduces the inverter's energy consumption during idle operation by approximately 70%, improving efficiency and conserving energy. The programmable relay acts as an alarm trigger, deactivating in case of an alarm or pre-alarm condition, such as high inverter temperature, excessive input ripple, or low battery voltage.

Remote operation allows external control of the inverter, charger, and on/off functions through a three-pole connector. The VICTRON MultiPlus 12/500/20-16 is designed for easy configuration, monitoring, and control after installation. Some settings can be adjusted using DIP switches.

Remote configuration and monitoring are possible by installing a Cerbo GX or other GX products connected to the internet. Operational data can be stored and accessed through the Victron Remote Management (VRM) platform.
