Dometic CoolMatic CRX50 is truly multifunctional, as it can serve as a fridge, fridge/freezer or freezer. This patented invention is distinguished by its removable freezer cell and smart electronic solutions, which regulate the compressor speed while saving energy. The freezer cell can be removed to increase available space, while the desired temperature is set manually.

Dometic CoolMatic CRX50 uses a refrigerant that transitions from a liquid to a gaseous state in the evaporator. The evaporation process draws heat from inside the refrigeration unit, causing the temperature to drop. The compressor draws in the refrigerant, compresses it, and conveys it to the condenser. From here, the absorbed heat is released into the environment. Then the refrigerant returns to a liquid state and to the evaporator, where the cycle begins again.

Dometic CoolMatic CRX50 offers the incredible versatility of a 3-in-1 solution, as it can be used as a fridge, a freezer or a combination of both. It allows you to set the desired temperature via a soft-touch control panel, mounted flush in the interior wall.

Dometic CoolMatic CRX50 also features intelligent electronics with automatic adjustment of fan speed based on ambient temperature: full speed for high temperatures, low speed and exceptionally quiet operation when ambient temperature is low.
