HONDA BF60AK1 LRTU engine are streamlined engines perfect for small and medium-sized boats. These compact, three-cylinder 998 cm³ outboards feature brilliant innovations. One of the standout features is Honda's famous PGM-FI system.

Honda exclusive BLAST™ technology with PGM-Fi electronic fuel injection delivers instant acceleration that gets you up to velocity very quickly. This is made possible by improved ignition timing accuracy, which develops more torque at low rpm.

The exclusive ECOmo system automatically adjusts the air/fuel mixture according to speed and load for maximum efficiency with minimum consumption. When your boat has reached cruising speed (in the green zone indicated above) the PGM-FI system can adjust the air/fuel ratio consuming up to 20% less.

The high power alternator generates a current of 22 Amps, which keeps the battery in the best condition with a load capacity of 17 Amps available already at 2000 rpm and also powers all the electronic equipment on board.

The gearbox is very slim and extremely hydrodynamic. The gears inside are machined to tight tolerances, reducing friction and helping to improve performance while lowering fuel consumption.

The outboards are NMEA2000® (National Marine Electronics Association) compliant, so they are compatible with all other NMEA2000®-compliant electronic devices, such as navigation and sounder systems. Outboard velocity, temperature and consumption data can be displayed via multifunctional gauges.

HONDA BF60AK1 LRTU are outboard in addition to acceleration and optional rudder control, it includes an LED panel that displays engine management status, oil pressure, battery charge and overheating. It also has a horn in case something happens while you're focused elsewhere.

Precise low-speed control is just as important as high-speed management, especially while fishing. The optional rudder control, through the control bar, simply adjusts the speed in 50 rpm increments, making it ideal for fishing.
